Road investigations will take place on a three-kilometre section of the Newell Highway, about two kilometres north of Narrandera, from Saturday 25 September until mid-October, weather permitting.  This work is in preparation for work on potential future overtaking lanes.

Narrandera and Barellan Waste Depots will resume regular working hours from Saturday 21 August. Narrandera Waste Depot (including Return & Earn) will be open each day, except Monday and Thursday; while Barellan Waste Depot is open on Thursday and Sunday.
