Council staff will be undertaking additional works to the newly constructed pavement at Cowabbie Creek culvert along Canola Way, due to some isolated material failures.

We understand the importance of our local and regional roads, especially now harvest has begun so it is vital the works be undertaken immediately.

Construction works will begin Monday 16 November and are expected to be complete within the week.

Traffic control will be in place with a 24-hour speed restriction between Thursday 12 November and Friday 27 November.

Portable traffic lights will allow motorists to pass in one direction at a time during work hours. Both lanes will be open under speed restrictions outside work hours, creating an additional five-minute travel time for motorists.
