We understand that while the Council Administration Office is closed there may be some concern about making payments for third quarter rates and water instalments during these unique times.
Council’s customer service team are here to help and recommend the following alternative methods to make your payments.
Payment by Mail
This option can be used to make a cheque or money order payment. Please detach the payment advice located at the bottom of the account to be paid and mail with payment to Council’s Administration office.
Pay by Direct Debit
Visit Council’s website www.narrandera.nsw.gov.au and download a Direct Debit application form which can be submitted online, emailed to council@narrandera.nsw.gov.au or post to Council’s Administration office.
Payment at Australia Post
Visit Australia Post with your barcoded account to make a cash payment, cheque payment, money order payment or by debiting the payment amount from your savings or cheque account. The cashier will scan the account you wish to pay and issue you with an official receipt once the transaction is complete.
For each of the below payment methods please remember to:
Make a separate payment transaction for each account to be paid.
Have the account in front of you displaying the 5-digit Biller Code 96503 and 17-digit reference number starting with 271101404.
Payment by B-Pay
Contact your participating bank, credit union or building society to make a payment directly from your cheque or savings account.
Payment Online via DEFT
Make a payment online using your MasterCard, Visa Card or pre-registered bank account. If you are a new user select “Pay without a login” or select "Login" if you are already a registered user. Enter the amount you wish to pay; your credit card details or pre-registered bank account details. Then enter your payment amounts and payment dates. For assistance please call 1800 672 162.
Payment by Telephone
Call 1300 30 10 90 and follow the prompts, enter the amount you wish to pay and enter your MasterCard or Visa Card details.
