Property managers should remain vigilant in regards to contractor machinery moving between properties. Some contractors operate between Shires and in some cases from other states.

Weeds like Wild Radish and Boneseed can easily be spread through the movement of contaminated machinery.

Where possible limit the entry points to your property. Display biosecurity signage at your gate with clear instructions including your phone number, so you can be contacted to arrange inspection. Examine each vehicle carefully before they enter your property; keep a visitor register detailing who has entered the property, allowing possible weed, pests or disease sources to be identified.
