Narrandera Shire Council wishes to advise residents that the Narrandera Waste Facility will have reduced access to the public in response to COVID-19. 

This will see the hours of public access hours being changed to 9am to 12pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

The new arrangements will commence Friday 17 April 2020 and extend until the end of the current COVID-19 restrictions.

While the decision to reduce the accessible hours at the facility to the public was not easy, it is required to ensure the health and safety of the staff. It is equally important to help manage the COVID-19 pandemic in our region. 

Narrandera Waste Facility remains open for kerbside and commercial vehicles to ensure the essential waste service is maintained for our community. If you have a specific problem and need to urgently dispose of waste prior to the weekly kerbside pickup, please contact Council on 02 6959 5510. 

Council is asking residents to be patient during this difficult time and avoid any activities that will generate waste requiring a visit to the waste facility.
