Mayor Cr Neville Kschenka said of the announcement, “These nominations reflect a broad cross section of our community. It is a tremendous honour to have your contributions to Narrandera Shire acknowledged by your peers in your community.”
“I would like to thank the many residents who took the time to nominate members of the community. It is an important opportunity to recognise the hard work and efforts of both individuals and organisations.”
“The awards will be announced during the Australia Day Ceremony on Sunday 26 January 2020 at Marie Bashir Park. Celebrations begin at 8am with breakfast followed by the Citizenship Ceremony and presentation of awards.
