The long awaited Reverse Vending Machine will begin operation from Friday 28 February 2020. The operating hours will be the same as the Landfill site:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 5pm
• Monday & Thursday: closed

The unit will be operating on alternative power in the interim. The connection to mains power has been delayed due to Essential Energy resources being redirected to fire affected areas. When the unit is connected to mains power the opening hours will be extended.

Download the Tomra App on your smart phone and found out where it is, what the open hours are (currently times are listed above while operating on alternative power) and which recyclables are open or full before you head out to use the machine.

As suggested by the Program Managers – Tomra/Cleanaway, there are no rubbish bins on the site, we ask that all users of the facility assist in keeping the area clean and tidy by taking any rubbish or unrecyclable items back with them.

Please keep in mind there may be some congestion as many people have collected recyclables over a period of time and will be eager to utilise the Return and Earn.

The vouchers dispensed by the machine are redeemable at Coles Supermarkets.
