Get ready for the biggest unveilings of the year - the Lake Talbot Water Park’s new epic slides and changerooms.

Narrandera Shire Council together with lessee’s Troy and Dycinta Lee are inviting you to the Switch on Summer Fun day.

Activities kick off from 9.30am on Saturday 23 November, with Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke MP on hand to officially open the new slides and pool level changerooms, which include accessible male and female amenities and two family room facilities.

The winner of a lucky door prize on the day, will race against Mayor Cr Neville Kschenka on the first ride down the fast paced tunnel racer slide.

“This is a new chapter for our much loved Lake Talbot Water Park,” said Mayor Kschenka.

“This is a regional facility and these projects aim to continue to build appeal to both residents and visitors in the area.”

The Narrandera Lion’s Club have generously agreed to set up from 11am to 3pm and offer a gold coin donation sausage sizzle.

DJ Stepback will be pumping out the tunes from 10.30am until 3pm, as everyone enjoys the beginning of summer at Lake Talbot Water Park.

The naming competition for each slide will commence after the unveiling; people will have the opportunity to submit their suggestions for two weeks. The three best options will then be open for voting and the new names will be announced 14 December.

Narrandera’s Lake Talbot Water Park will open for the season on Saturday 9 November.
